Our Story

The Shaman and the Bear was born out of a love of herbs and respect for the healthful properties that they bring to us. The blending of the teas is done by Martha who has studied, grown and wild harvested herbs for over 25 years. She feels that teas and herbs in general gently improve health.

The products made by The Shaman and the Bear are hand blended and packaged in small batches by a few people who love the herbs and how they improve their lives. The packaging was carefully chosen for its ability to be composted (down to the silk ribbon) for the care of Mother Earth. If not you, then who?
